First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tests a robotic pill camera that can be guided by magnets to examine both the stomach and small bowel in one go. It aims to see if this less invasive method can safely replace standard upper endoscopy for people with iron deficiency anaemia of unknown cause. About 100 adults will take part, comparing the capsule's findings with those from a traditional scope.
