First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests whether a simplified robot (FASTER) can help doctors remove abnormal growths in the colon or rectum more quickly and safely than the standard endoscopic method. About 40 adults aged 18 to 80 with such growths will be randomly assigned to one of the two procedures. The main goal is to see if the robot reduces total procedure time while maintaining quality and lowering complication risks like bleeding or perforation.
