First seen Jan 27, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study compares a new robotic system to the standard method for removing gallstones from the common bile duct. The robot aims to reduce radiation exposure and physical strain on doctors during the procedure. About 200 adults with common bile duct stones will be randomly assigned to either robotic or standard treatment. The main goals are to see if the robot works just as well and causes similar side effects.
