Robotic arms offer new hope for stroke patients regaining movement
NCT ID NCT04697368
Summary
This study is testing whether using a robotic exoskeleton to help move a patient's arm is better than standard physical therapy for improving arm function after a recent stroke. It involves 70 adults who have had a stroke within the last 90 days and have moderate to severe arm weakness. The goal is to see if the robot-assisted therapy helps people recover more arm movement and independence in daily activities.
