First human test for new MASH liver drug begins

Summary
This early-stage study is testing the safety and initial effects of an investigational drug called RO7790121 in 50 people with advanced MASH-related liver scarring (fibrosis). The main goal is to see how well the drug is tolerated and how it behaves in the body. Researchers will also check if the drug helps reduce liver stiffness and inflammation using scans and blood tests.
