Personalized RNA shots target deadly brain cancer in kids and adults

NCT ID NCT04573140

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new, personalized vaccine made from a patient's own tumor RNA. It aims to see if this vaccine is safe and to find the best dose for adults with a type of brain cancer called glioblastoma and for children with high-grade brain tumors. The vaccine is given after standard surgery and radiation, with the goal of training the immune system to fight the cancer.
