New drug hope for brain-damaged newborns in landmark trial

Summary
This study tests a new medicine called RLS-0071 in 70 newborns who have brain injury from not getting enough oxygen at birth. The babies also receive standard cooling therapy. The goal is to see if the drug is safe and can reduce brain damage and long-term problems like disability or death.
