Bone marrow injection shows promise for severe stroke

Summary

This early-phase study tests a new drug called RK-4 for people with a severe type of stroke (large hemispheric infarction) who cannot have standard clot-removal treatment. The drug is injected directly into the skull bone marrow once daily for three days. The main goals are to check if the drug is safe and tolerable, and to get early information on how it works in the body. Only 18 participants will be enrolled.
