Skull injection shows promise for severe stroke patients

Summary
This early-phase study tests a new drug called RK-4 for people with a severe type of stroke (large hemispheric infarction) who cannot have standard treatment. The drug is injected directly into the skull bone marrow once daily for three days. The main goals are to check if the drug is safe and tolerable, and to see how it moves through the body. Only 18 participants will take part.
