Summary

This study is testing whether the drug rituximab can improve thinking skills and hand function in people with advanced secondary progressive multiple sclerosis (SPMS). Researchers will compare 46 participants with significant disability—half receiving rituximab and half receiving a placebo—over one year. The goal is to see if this treatment can help maintain or improve cognitive abilities, hand coordination, and overall quality of life for those living with progressive MS.
