Summary

This study tested whether the drug rituximab could help reduce joint pain and swelling in people with systemic sclerosis (scleroderma) who had active arthritis. It involved 22 participants whose joint symptoms weren't controlled by standard medications. The main goal was to see if this treatment could improve quality of life by easing these painful symptoms.
