New model aims to predict bladder leak after pelvic surgery

Summary

This study looks at women having surgery for pelvic organ prolapse (when organs slip out of place). The goal is to find out who might develop new bladder leakage (stress urinary incontinence) after surgery. Researchers will follow 382 women for a year to build a risk prediction tool.
