Summary
This study tests a video program called Rise Up! Against Violence, designed to prevent gun violence among middle schoolers. High school students who have experienced gun violence helped create the videos to connect with younger kids. The program will be tested in schools in high-violence areas of Houston and Memphis with 600 participants. The goal is to change attitudes about carrying guns and fighting.
