New study tests peer support to ease lung disease burden

Summary

This study tests a 10-session program called RISE-HP, where trained peer coaches use cognitive behavioral techniques and education to help people with hypersensitivity pneumonitis feel better day-to-day. The goal is to improve quality of life and see if the program is practical. 42 adults with the condition will either get RISE-HP or a general health education program.
