Summary

This study tested how well and safely the drug risankizumab (brand name Skyrizi) works for adults with moderate to severe psoriasis in sensitive areas: the genital region or the scalp. About 214 participants received either the real drug or a placebo via injection for up to a year, with doctors checking their skin and asking about symptoms and quality of life. The goal was to see if this treatment could better control these difficult-to-treat forms of psoriasis.
