New lung cancer drug shows promise in Late-Stage trial

Summary
This study tests a new medicine called Risvutatug rezetecan (Ris-Rez) for people with relapsed small cell lung cancer. It targets a protein on cancer cells to stop growth. About 420 adults who have already tried one prior treatment will be randomly assigned to receive Ris-Rez or standard topotecan. Researchers will compare tumor shrinkage, survival, and side effects.
