Scientists test new pill formula: does food change how your body absorbs it?
NCT ID NCT06342700
Summary
This early-stage study tested how the body absorbs two different pill versions of an experimental drug called rilzabrutinib, which is being developed for autoimmune disorders. The study involved 28 healthy volunteers who took single doses of the pills, sometimes with food and sometimes without, to see if the new pill formula worked as well as the old one. The main goal was to measure drug levels in the blood to understand how the pills are absorbed and if eating food makes a difference.
