Summary
This study tested whether providing free rideshare rides (via Lyft) to liver transplant candidates for all transplant-related medical visits helps them get on the official waiting list faster. 261 adults who had an initial liver transplant clinic visit took part. The study measured time to waitlisting and whether transportation barriers were reduced.
