Can an ancient herb give footballers a mental and physical edge?

NCT ID NCT07366320

Summary

This study tested whether taking a Rhodiola rosea supplement for four weeks could help competitive male football players perform better. Twenty-four players were randomly given either the supplement or a placebo pill while continuing their normal training. Researchers measured their fitness, sprint times, jump height, and decision-making speed before and after to see if the supplement made a difference.
