New heat therapy zaps spine tumors, PET scans confirm success

Summary
This study tests a procedure that uses heat (radiofrequency ablation) plus bone stabilization to treat cancer that has spread to the spine. About 16 people with one to three active spine tumors will get the treatment. Success is measured by PET scans that show whether the tumor's activity has stopped.
