Summary
This study tested whether adding reward-focused techniques to standard exposure therapy works better for reducing public speaking fear. Forty people with significant public speaking anxiety received either therapy focused on finding positive rewards or one focused on changing negative thoughts. Researchers compared how much each approach reduced anxiety symptoms over a few weeks.
