Summary

This study tested a mobile app called OARSCM that uses rewards to encourage people with opioid use disorder to start and stay with medication treatment (Suboxone) after leaving the emergency room or hospital. The study enrolled 41 adults from two hospitals. The study was terminated early, so results are limited.
