Saline injection could help patients walk sooner after surgery

NCT ID NCT07404982

Summary

This study is testing whether injecting sterile salt water (saline) through a tiny spinal tube can help patients regain leg movement faster after knee or hip replacement surgery. Researchers are comparing patients who receive the saline injection to those who don't to see if it reduces the time patients experience numbness and weakness. The goal is to help patients recover mobility more quickly after their operations.
