Doctors map hidden causes in race to save cardiac arrest victims
NCT ID NCT05784480
Summary
This study aims to understand how often doctors can identify treatable causes during out-of-hospital cardiac arrests using bedside tests and checklists. Researchers will observe 100 patients to see if finding these causes changes treatment and affects survival. The study also measures how this process impacts emergency doctors' mental workload during resuscitation efforts.
