New exercise approach aims to ease leg pain and boost mobility

Summary

This study tests a type of exercise called Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) training in 81 adults with peripheral arterial disease (PAD), a condition that causes leg pain when walking. The goal is to see if BFR training can improve walking distance, quality of life, and safety compared to standard exercise. Participants will be followed for 3 months after the program ends.
