First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tested whether a device that emits a special type of radiation (alpha rays) directly into tumors can be used again in people whose cancer came back after a first treatment. Only 2 adults with skin, mouth, or soft tissue cancers took part. The goal was to see if the tumors shrank and to check for side effects.
