Scientists seek better ways to measure fading vision in rare eye disease

NCT ID NCT06517940

Summary

This study aims to understand how vision declines in people with severe retinitis pigmentosa, a rare genetic eye disease. Researchers will follow 12 adults for one year to identify which vision tests work best for tracking disease progression. The study doesn't test treatments but gathers information to help design future clinical trials.
