NCT ID NCT07105228

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looked at medical records of about 290,000 people in the US who received aflibercept (Eylea) eye injections to treat various retinal diseases. The goal was to find out how often retinal vasculitis, a type of eye inflammation, occurred after the injections. Researchers also described the patients' health characteristics and other eye inflammation events. The study did not test a new treatment but instead gathered real-world data to better understand the safety of this commonly used medication.
