Eye surgery timing test aims to reduce complications
NCT ID NCT07346560
Summary
This study is comparing two different timings for a specific step in retinal detachment surgery. It aims to see if peeling a thin membrane (the ILM) during the initial repair surgery or later when removing the silicone oil leads to fewer complications. The goal is to find the safest approach for patients with a specific type of uncomplicated retinal detachment.
