Summary
This study tests a new, high-resolution imaging device that takes 3D pictures of the back of the eye to detect early signs of age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Researchers will scan 50 adults aged 60 and older with early or intermediate AMD to see if the tool can spot tiny deposits called drusen that signal the disease. The goal is to improve early diagnosis so that vision loss can be slowed down sooner.
