First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests whether selpercatinib, a drug already used for certain cancers, can help with severe weight loss and poor appetite (cachexia) in people with advanced lung, colon, or pancreatic cancer. Seven participants will take the pill twice daily for 12 weeks while researchers track weight changes and side effects. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and worth studying further.
