Could your restless legs be stressing your heart?
NCT ID NCT02929732
Summary
This study aims to understand if people with restless legs syndrome (Willis-Ekbom disease) have increased nervous system activity that might explain their higher risk of heart problems. Researchers will compare 40 patients with the condition to healthy volunteers by measuring heart and nervous system activity during sleep. The goal is to gather knowledge about the link between restless legs and cardiovascular health, not to test a treatment.
