Summary

This study was designed to see if deep brain stimulation (DBS) of the VIM brain area changes breathing in people with essential or dystonic tremor. Researchers planned to measure breath-holding and peak airflow before and after surgery. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
