New drug aims to wipe out hidden cancer cells in head and neck cancer survivors

Summary

This study tests a drug called AZD2936 in about 100 people with high-risk head and neck cancer who still have signs of cancer DNA in their blood after standard treatment. The goal is to see if the drug can clear those cancer signals and prevent the cancer from coming back. Participants will either receive the drug or standard monitoring.
