First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This early-stage study tests whether age-related vision problems are caused by changes in brain wave patterns. Researchers will use noninvasive brain stimulation to try to restore these patterns and improve how older adults see contrast and 3D motion. The study involves 240 healthy adults aged 18 and older and aims to understand the brain mechanisms behind vision decline.
