First seen Mar 05, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tested a new device called RescueDoppler that can continuously monitor blood flow in the neck's carotid artery during cardiac arrest without needing a specialist. Researchers wanted to see if it could tell when blood is flowing or not, helping guide CPR. The study involved 285 adults who had a sudden cardiac arrest, both in and out of the hospital.
