First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looked at whether two blood markers (nucleosomes and free DNA) stay stable over time in healthy people and in people who have had a blood clot. Researchers measured these markers monthly for six months in 15 healthy volunteers and 15 patients with a history of venous thromboembolism. The goal was to see if these markers could be useful for monitoring or predicting blood clots in the future.
