New hope for kids with tough cancers: experimental drug targets genetic flaws

Summary
This study is testing a new drug called repotrectinib in children and young adults (up to age 25) with advanced or spreading cancers that have specific genetic changes (ALK, ROS1, or NTRK). The first part aims to find a safe dose. The second part will see if the drug can shrink tumors in patients whose cancers have the ROS1 or NTRK changes and have few other treatment options.
