Double dose hope: new stroke study tests second clot buster

Summary
This study looks at giving a second dose of the clot-busting drug tenecteplase to people having an ischemic stroke who don't get better within an hour after the first dose. The goal is to see if this extra dose is safe and can help open blocked blood vessels and improve recovery. About 120 adults who start treatment within 3 hours of stroke symptoms will take part.
