New gel and blood glue aim to banish wound odor and speed healing
NCT ID NCT05983302
First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a repairing gel (Supraz) combined with a platelet-rich plasma-fibrin glue can reduce bad odor and help heal chronic wounds that haven't improved with standard care. About 40 adults with a single long-lasting wound will receive either the new treatment or standard care. The main goals are to see if the wound odor, size, pain, and healing time improve over two months.
