Summary

This study tests a treatment called radioembolization for early-stage kidney cancer. Tiny glass beads containing radioactive yttrium-90 are injected into the artery feeding the tumor to kill cancer cells from inside. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and effective for 25 adults with stage I or II kidney cancer who are not eligible for or want to avoid surgery.
