NCT ID NCT05460169

First seen May 11, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests a procedure called renal denervation, which uses ultrasound to calm overactive nerves in the kidneys, to see if it can safely lower blood pressure in people with autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) whose blood pressure remains high despite taking 1-4 medications. About 44 participants will be randomly assigned to receive the procedure immediately or after a delay. The main goal is to measure changes in 24-hour blood pressure three months after treatment.
