Doctors test remote ultrasound to spot dangerous fluid after surgery

NCT ID NCT06594562

Summary

This study is testing whether nurses using ultrasound machines while being guided remotely by experts can accurately detect fluid buildup in the abdomen after liver surgery. Researchers will compare the remote-guided ultrasound results with standard ultrasound exams performed by radiologists on-site. The goal is to see if this remote approach could help identify complications faster and reduce the need for more intensive imaging tests.
