Phone therapy & pain zapper trial aims to get people walking
NCT ID NCT06114732
Summary
This study is testing if a home-based program can help people with leg pain from poor circulation (intermittent claudication) become more active. Researchers want to see if four video calls with a physical therapist, plus a small electrical device to reduce leg pain during walking, is a practical and acceptable approach. They will compare this program to usual care to see if it helps people walk more and improves their quality of life.
