First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests a remote monitoring system to better manage oxygen therapy in premature infants born before 32 weeks who have bronchopulmonary dysplasia (a chronic lung condition). About 70 babies will be followed to see if this approach reduces the time they need oxygen and prevents complications like pulmonary hypertension. The goal is to create a national standard for caring for these vulnerable infants.
