Smart clothes track Babies' movements to understand rare muscle diseases
NCT ID NCT07286565
Summary
This study aims to better understand early motor development in children with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) or Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). Researchers will remotely follow 100 children under age 4 for up to 30 months using special wearable sensors at home. The goal is to create better tools to measure movement in very young children, which could help future treatment studies.
