Summary

This study tracks 50 COPD patients who have been hospitalized for a sudden worsening of their condition (called an acute exacerbation). Participants wear a device that measures oxygen levels, heart rate, breathing rate, activity, sleep, and skin temperature for three months after leaving the hospital. The goal is to learn how these vital signs change during recovery and to build a model that could predict future flare-ups early, potentially preventing hospital readmissions.
