Smart home tech aims to keep cancer patients out of hospital
NCT ID NCT04263948
Summary
This study tested whether remote monitoring could help patients with advanced pancreatic cancer better tolerate their chemotherapy. Patients used a chest sensor, smart scale, and tablet to track symptoms, weight, and activity from home. The goal was to spot early warning signs and allow doctors to intervene before problems became severe enough to require emergency hospitalization.
