Community health workers go digital to fight high blood pressure

NCT ID NCT06730230

Summary

This study is testing whether pairing community health workers with remote blood pressure monitors helps Latinx patients manage high blood pressure better than standard care alone. It will enroll 300 adults who identify as Latinx, have uncontrolled high blood pressure, and struggle with taking their medication. The main goal is to see if this tech-supported approach leads to lower blood pressure readings.
