Phone app & smart brace aim to ease arthritic knee pain from home

NCT ID NCT07188493

Summary

This study tested whether a custom-made knee brace connected to a mobile app could help people with knee osteoarthritis feel better and move more easily. Researchers compared three groups over six months: one used the smart brace with an app, one used a custom brace with exercises, and one used a standard brace with exercises. The goal was to see if remote monitoring and support could improve pain, stiffness, and daily function without surgery.
